After the truth comes to light, Maira, also known as Pookie, agrees to return to Udaipur with Abhira. While this should have been a joyous reunion, Abhira is left heartbroken when Maira refuses to accept her as her mother. For Maira, that role has always belonged to Gitanjali, the woman who raised her with love and care.

Despite Abhira’s efforts to make Maira feel welcome, the little girl continues to express her desire to go back to Armaan and Gitanjali. Abhira, constantly compared to them, finds herself in tears, feeling like a stranger in her own daughter’s life.
