Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in Dubai hotel

Legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi died in Dubai while attending nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding celebration.

Dubai authorities on Monday confirmed that Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in the bathtub of her hotel suite after losing consciousness.Sridevi was found in the bathroom of the Jumeirah hotel.

While various reports on Sunday had cited cardiac arrest as the main cause of her death, the UAE ministry of health’s director of preventive medicine issued a letter on Tuesday saying Sridevi Boney Kapoor Ayyappan died due to ‘accidental drowning’.

 The autopsy report was signed by Dr Sami Wadie, specialist/public health.

Sridevi body still not handed over to family

Dubai police handed over the case to Dubai Public Prosecution for further probe.
