Sri Devi was born on August 13, 1963 and she was named as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan upon birth, her father was a lawyer.

She strated her career at age of four in Thriumughan’s devotional film, Thunaivan (1967).

Sri Devi has worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telgu, Malayalam and Kannada films where she has won 5 film fare awards for Best Actress leading role.

In 2013, Government of India awarded her Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor.

In 1996, Sri Devi married Boney Kapoor, a film producer they have two daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.

Legendary actress Sri Devi was attending Mohit Marwash’s wedding in Dubai with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi.
