The upcoming episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will bring a major twist as Maira and Kabir decide to leave their families behind and begin a new life together in Mumbai.

Despite facing opposition from Abhira, Armaan and the other family members, Maira will refuse to give up on her relationship. Her decision will leave everyone shocked, while Abhira and Armaan will struggle to deal with their daughter's sudden disappearance.

Maira will secretly visit Kabir in the hospital after disguising herself as a doctor. Nandini will unknowingly help Maira reach Kabir's room, unaware of the real reason behind her visit.

During their meeting, Maira and Kabir will discuss their relationship and the difficulties they face because their families refuse to accept them together. Both will realise that waiting for their parents to change their minds may not help them achieve the future they want.
