Set in a Marathi backdrop, Star Plus shows Udne Ki Aasha to depict a wife's roadblock in the form of a non-cooperative husband and her challenge to make him transform for the sake of her and the family's progress.

It was earlier seen that Renu will demand Sayali to make a garland of 108 limes for her son Tejas’s well-being.

Sayali will not do so as she cannot forgive Tejas for leaving her on wedding Mandap and causing pain to her family and loved ones.

Renu will fume in anger as Sayali will not follow her instruction.

However Sayali will stay firm on her decision as she cannot do anything for Tejas.
