Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is revolving around the Birla family.

It seems that Dr Mahima Birla is a very well known heart surgeon but is not given the same place in society as her husband who is also a heart doctor.

Akshara will go to Dr Mahima for a job in her NGO but instead of being given the job Mahima will humiliate her for being rich and privileged and not knowing the true meaning of pain.

Mahima breaks Akshara’s heart

Akshara will feel bad about Mahima and her discrimination between poor and rich and will ask her hard hitting questions and leave.

However Akshara will be badly affected by Mahima and her hard scolding as she will relive her disturbing past once again.
