Avantika Hundal is a known face in television industry.

She is currently part of Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where she essays the character of Mihika Bhalla.

It seems that Avantika’s father Navtej Hundal has passed away on Monday.

Navtej Hundal was last seen on the big screen as the home minister in Aditya Dhar's war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike, which released in January this year and featured Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead role.

He was also part of a successful television show such as Bharat Ek Khoj.

The unfortunate death news was shared by Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) on their social media.
