He is currently part of Star Plus show Ishqbaaz where he is playing the character of Shivansh Singh Oberoi.

Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee Parekh completed 7 years of blissful marriage.

Nakuul who was busy shooting for the show shared a couple of pictures of the wife wishing her a happy anniversary.

In a post recently, Nakuul had opened up about Jankee and the proposal which happened.

He had shared how she was the only girl he proposed and they happened to be together since then. “We dated for 9 years after–I’d have married her at 18 but it was a tough one! She comes from a traditional Gujarati family. They (her parents) were hesitant–I wasn’t Gujarati or a businessman & I was an actor! But she was unrelenting! Finally, I spoke to her parents until they were convinced. Then at 2 am, I proposed to her on Marine Drive with a 5 page poem I’d written–thankfully she said ‘yes’ before the cops came after us!”.
