Samridhii Shukla talks about health issue due to 12 to 13 hours of shoot

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running shows on Star Plus.

Actress Samridhii Shukla currently joined the show as the lead.

According to Samridhi, “As you may have noticed in the new promo, Abhira, or rather, my voice, sounds a bit off. I truly regret that I don't sound the same, but there are certain aspects beyond our control. Taking rest, a crucial remedy, becomes challenging in the TV industry due to its demanding schedules, with telecasts now spanning seven days a week and shifts extending to 12-13 hours. This lack of rest, combined with the prevalent throat issues in Mumbai, likely due to deteriorating air quality, has taken a toll.”

Samridhi works hard for show

She further added, “Us Mumbaikars are known for their workaholic spirit, often take pride in it. I've advised my friends to take precautions, and while work never stops, Abhira will continue entertaining the audience. I kindly ask for your understanding as I strive to regain my original voice.
