Samridhii Shukla talks about show going Off Air & Negativity faced by current cast

Samridhii Shukla is the new face of Star Plus most popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she plays Akshara and Abhinav Sharma’s daughter.

Currently there are lots of rumours circulating that the show is going off air but the actress has rubbished the news as rumours as they have not received any official notice from the makers of the show or the channel.

She also addressed the negativity directed towards the current cast of the show.

Samridhii expressed, "I think the moment we decide to be a public figure, you have to accept the fact that you can be bullied and appreciated too. And you have to accept both because you signed up for this. You cannot be a cry baby and say that people are speaking about me. No! You are a public figure. It does not change the fact that we do feel bad.”

Samridhii ignores trolls

She added, “There are days when we are pulled down, and there are also days when we are appreciated. The audience is emotional, innocent, and naive. We have to understand the fact that the audience was invested in different people earlier, and if overnight someone goes through even a minor change, they feel bad. So, of course, they will take time to get used to the new cast and new people. But I am very confident that they will accept us."
