Remarkable actor Rio Kapadia is celebrated for his brilliant roles in films like "Chak De! India," "Dil Chahta Hai," and "Mardaani" has sadly passed away at the age of 66. The news of his demise was confirmed by his close friend Faisal Malik, as reported by India Today.

Rio Kapadia is survived by his wife, Maria Farah, and their two children, Aman and Veer.

The cremation ceremony for Rio is scheduled to take place on September 15 (Today) at the Shiv Dham Shamshan Bhumi in Goregaon, Mumbai. As of now, the cause of the actor's passing has not been disclosed.
