Akanksha is a well know face in television industry and has been part of the industry for a long time.
She grabbed limelight after her infamous breakup with Bigg Boss 13 finalist Paras Chabra.
Swayamvar - Mika Di Vohti premiered on June 19.
And the makers introduced Akanksha Puri as the wildcard contestant.
The actress has been Mika's friend for over 10 years.
Her entry already created buzz among the enthusiastic participants. Akanksha was seen being emotional as she expressed her feelings whole-heartedly.
She said that she would never want to let go of Mika.
The reason behind it, she says, is the kind of human being he is.
