Anupama: Makers provide financial aid of Rs 10 lakh to Dead Technician’s Family

Anupama rules on the television screens. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under the auspices of Director's Kut Productions. 

It seems few days back an accident occurred on the sets of Star Plus show Anupama where one of the technicians died due to short circuit. Apparently, he was new in the shoot and mistakenly touched the live wire that was on the sets of the show.

The crew rushed the technician named Anil Mandal to hospital but he was not able to survive the electric shock and died. After this incident there was a lot of uproar over the safety of the people handling the technical department.

Strict action against makers

The makers were seen providing a compensation of rupees 10 lakh to the father of the dead technician. And vows to help the family further as well.

This is not the first time that such an incident has taken place and hence FWICE President B.N. Tiwari will be seen taking actions to make sure that such tragic incident is not repeated in future.
