Mannat later breaks down while speaking to Vikrant. Mannat wonders why everything had to end so painfully and worries about the impact of Dhairya's betrayal on Dua. Mannat fears that Dua may stop believing in relationships altogether because Mannat had taught her that some bonds can be stronger than blood relations.

Vikrant tries to give Mannat strength. Vikrant tells Mannat that Dua has finally seen Dhairya's real character and that Dhairya has faced the consequences of his actions. Vikrant also shares his own painful experience involving Vishaka Kumar. Vikrant explains that he too was betrayed by someone connected to him through blood.

Vikrant becomes furious when he thinks about the people who targeted an innocent child simply to take revenge. Vikrant wants to fight back against the Rajvansh family, but Mannat stops him. Mannat reminds Vikrant that Dua needs their attention more than revenge does.

The biggest shock comes when Ankit learns about Manyata's condition. After discovering a note outside his house, Ankit rushes inside.
