It seems that Kajal Pisal who essays the character of Tanuja Bose in the show has not been well for a long time.

She was taken to a metropolitan hospital and underwent surgery.

In an Instagram post, she provided followers with health updates, writing, " I was diagnosed with recurrent cystic hyperplasia for which I had to go through a small procedure under sedation. I'm glad and thankful to my fans and well-wishers for their love and concern. I'm doing much better after undergoing surgery in a hospital here in Mumbai."

She plays the character of Tanuja who is the mother of the male lead, Anirudh Bose.
