Jhanak: Poorva Gokhale talks about her character

Since its first glimpse, Star Plus latest romance drama Jhanak has created a wave of excitement amongst viewers.

It was earlier seen that actress Poorva Gokhale replaced Dolly Sohi as Shrishti Mukherjee.

Dolly has a certain way of portraying the character and Poorva Gokhale is bringing her own unique flavour to the character as she is not willing to copy Dolly’s work.

Since the show has not been air for a long time it is much easier to convince the audience.

Poorva shared, “It is difficult to take over someone else’s work. Dolly Sohi played the character in a particular way and I am trying to understand the character. The show is comparatively new so I hope to win over the audience’s hearts. It is a challenge to erase the work of what an actor has done and give it a fresh start.
