Actress Mallika Rajput committed suicide
Actress and Singer Mallika Rajput who co-starred Kangana Ranaut in the film, Revolver Rani has been found dead in her apartment.
Mallika Rajput’s real name is Vijay Lakshmi and her mysterious death is being investigated by the cops.
The 35-year old singer's body was found hanging from the fan in a room of her house in Sitakund locality of Kotwali police station area.
Mallika's mother Sumitra Singh said that she did not know when the incident took place as the family was sleeping.
Though the case looks like suicide but the police are investigating the matter and make sure that no foul play has been done.
Police begin investigation
The reason behind the suicide is also not clear and the police are trying to contact the friends and relatives of the actress.
The body of the actress has been sent to Post mortem and the cops are waiting for the report.
