Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is gearing up for a dramatic twist as Mandira takes extreme steps to keep Mihir away from Tulsi. Mihir has lost his memories after the accident and currently believes that he is Mandira's husband. However, his forgotten past continues to create trouble for Mandira because Mihir occasionally remembers Tulsi.

Mandira becomes increasingly anxious when Mihir keeps referring to Tulsi. She fears that his memories could slowly return and reveal the truth about his identity. Instead of allowing Mihir to discover his past naturally, Mandira decides to tighten her control over him. She even gives Mihir an injection as part of her attempt to keep him under her influence.

Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding Nandini and Tripti continues to create tension in Shantiniketan. Tripti remains determined to expose Nandini and secretly places a video containing crucial evidence on Karan's laptop. Tripti hopes that Karan will watch the recording and finally learn what Nandini has been hiding.

However, Tulsi comes across the pen drive containing the video. Tulsi realises that the evidence could create a major problem for Nandini. She destroys the pen drive before Karan can access its contents. Tripti's plan is therefore ruined once again, while Nandini gets another opportunity to keep her secret hidden.

Mandira manipulates Anupam to get revenge against Tulsi

The biggest development arrives with Anupam's return. Anupam comes back to Mumbai after spending years in the United States. His arrival is bound to disturb Mandira because Anupam knows about several events from the past.

Anupam had suffered a terrible accident in which his wife Kesar died, while he remained in a coma. Mandira had arranged for his treatment abroad. Later, Mandira manipulated Anupam by making him believe that Tulsi had taken his children away from him. She also used Kesar's death to stop him from returning to Mumbai.

Now Anupam is finally heading back to Shantiniketan, creating another threat to Mandira's carefully maintained secrets.

Meanwhile, Mihir looks through his wedding album with Mandira. The photographs make him happy, but Mandira remembers how she manipulated the album and replaced Tulsi's photograph with her own.
