Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is heading towards a major family confrontation as Karan becomes determined to get Samaira married to Parag. While Karan believes that the marriage is the right decision for his daughter, Tulsi refuses to let him control Samaira's future. The upcoming drama is expected to bring the Virani family face to face once again.

Karan takes matters into his own hands and decides that Samaira will soon be engaged to Parag. His determination becomes so strong that he even locks Samaira inside her room. Karan insists that he is only trying to protect his daughter and believes that he knows what is best for her.

Tulsi, however, cannot accept Karan's actions. She knows that Samaira has already gone through an extremely difficult emotional phase in the past. Tulsi fears that forcing her into a marriage she does not want could have serious consequences. Instead of staying quiet, Tulsi decides to intervene before the situation gets worse.

Gautam and Sahil try to make Tulsi understand that Karan is unlikely to change his mind. They fear that interfering could create an even bigger family conflict. Tulsi remains firm and believes that protecting Samaira is more important than avoiding an argument with Karan.

At the same time, Karan appears to be dealing with his own emotional pain. His memories of Parth reveal that there is more behind his rigid behaviour than the family understands.

Nandini later tries to bring everyone together for Samaira's engagement. Karan agrees to invite Gautam and Damini, but Tulsi's concerns remain unresolved.
