Star Plus’s show Jhanak is giving full drama and twists in the new college life of Jhanak as she prepares her journey of becoming a doctor.
Rishi becomes Jhanak's legal guardian while going against his own family because they ask him not to go forward with that added responsibility.
However, seeing that Jhanak has no one she can trust other than him in the city of Kolkata, Rishi signs the documents becoming her local guardian to the college.
Jhanak struggles with her hostel room but gets assured that she will get a room by the end of two days which makes Jhanak decide that she will have to travel back and forth from her village.
Rishi gets to know about the situation of Jhanak when he calls her and thinks of a way to help Jhanak but Jhanak politely refuses any help from Rishi as she does not want to come in between him and his family.
Arshi and Anirudh play a dirty game as they reach out to the college principal personally and suggest that they cut the name of Jhanak from their list of selected students.
Jhanak gets the help and aid of Rishi as her benefactor
Anirudh says that Jhanak is a poor girl from an unknown village which makes her an odd fit among the several high profile students who study there.
The principal gets convinced as Anirudh pulls some connections and brings in the reputation of the college in the matter of throwing Jhanak out of the college.
With Rishi deciding to help Jhanak stay with him until the opening of the college, Anirudh and Arshi plan this evil trap so that Jhanak fails to stay in Kolkata and fulfil her studies.
Will Jhanak's dream of becoming a doctor end with this evil ploy to prevent her from studying in a good college? Will Rishi decide to step in as Jhanak's supporter in this unexpected hurdle coming in their way?
