Anupama: Gaurav Sharma sheds light on Sudden replacement on show

Anupama rules on the television screens. It is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Sreemoyee, produced by Rajan and Deepa Shahi under the auspices of Director's Kut Productions. 

It was earlier reported that actor Aashish Mehrotra is quitting the show due to some personal issues.

Surprisingly the makers got Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s villain Gaurav Sharma to play the strong character of Paritosh Shah.

According to Gaurav, “This happened all of a sudden. It was an overnight replacement where I got a call at night and was told about the character. I took the brief from the director and also since the cast comprises seasoned actors, I requested them that if there are certain nuances where I go wrong or I need to pick up, please let me know and guide me.”
