YRKKH: Karishma Sawant talks about her Character getting sidelined

The upcoming episode of Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is going to witness some high voltage drama.

The show started as a rivalry between two sisters (Aarohi and Akshara) and how they landed up getting married in the same house.

However in recent episodes the character of Aarohi aka Karishma Sawant was side-lined and the story focussed on Akshara and Abhimanyu’s life.

According to Karishma, “No, absolutely not after the last generation leap on the show, my character was still prominently featured in the main montage with Abhimanyu and Akshara. The story post-leap also revolved around Ruhi, Abhimanyu, and me. However, it's essential to understand that the story eventually centres around the lead pair. I believe that's okay.”

She further added, “I'm grateful to DKP for giving me the opportunity to play Aarohi. They provided me with a lot of material to work with as an actor. I enjoyed the single mother track. My character's journey had a beautiful start and end, and I'm grateful for it.”
