The reports suggest three months back the actor went through a kidney transplant surgery.

The news has left the fans in dismay as they remember his great work in movies like Sandwich, Kal Ho Na Ho and Sarabhai VS Sarabhai.

The last rites of the actor will be taken place at Pawan Hans Crematorium where many celebs arrived to pay their last tribute.

Anupama actor Rupali Ganguly who once was the co- star with the late actor too joined the funeral.
