She states clearly that this child is not Rishi's. but belongs to someone else. In fact, Guru Maa even suggested that Malishka herself perhaps doesn't even know the father's name.

Before this dramatic reveal, Malishka and Rishi were reportedly blaming Lakshmi. They claimed that Lakshmi did not want their child to enter the world.

Neelam was apparently starting to believe them and was about to confront Lakshmi. However, just in the nick of time, Guru Maa arrived.

Neelam asked why she was there, and Guru Maa replied that if she hadn't come at that moment, something significantly wrong would have occurred.
