Later that evening, Anupama returned home and recounted the day's dramatic events at Pandit Manohar's house to Bharati and Gurpreet.
They were absolutely shocked by Tarun's outrageous behaviour. Just as they were processing everything, the police arrived at Anupama's doorstep.
A female inspector informed a stunned Anupama that she had been accused of theft at Pandit Manohar's house, with Tarun himself filing the complaint.
Anupama, tearful and distraught, pleaded her innocence. Bharati, Gurpreet, and even the neighbours stood up for her, asserting that Anupama is a kind-hearted person who always helps everyone and could never commit such an act.
But the police had one more devastating blow to deliver. The inspector then presented Anupama with what was described as an "obscene video", asking her, "If she is so innocent, then what is this?"
